Applying quantum algorithms using 2-Qubits NMR Gemini Mini Quantum Computer which is now possible with Vernewell Academy Training Programs.
Venue: Dubai, UAE – Hybrid
Category: Technology – Quantum
Level: Beginner
Facilitator: Dr. Rabie Mahmoud
Participants: Researchers, Engineers, IT scientists, Data scientists, Mathematician, Physicists, Students within the same or related fields.
Prerequisites: A brief background in Information Technology, mathematics, and quantum theory.
Aim
- This Workshop aims to equip participants with a foundation of the principles and techniques of cryptography, including simple and quantum cryptographic systems. By the end of the Workshop, participants will have gained the knowledge and skills to apply these systems effectively to protect sensitive information in real-world scenarios. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real quantum computing technology and network with other professionals and experts in cryptography, expanding their knowledge and skillset in the field of information security.
Workshop Abstract
- This Workshop is designed to provide a deep understanding of the inner workings of simple cryptographic systems and how to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios. Starting with the fundamental principles of Caesar's encryption, Permutation code, Vigenere cipher, and One-time pad, Participants will gain mastery of these techniques and be ready to apply them to practical situations. But that's just the beginning! The Workshop will then dive into quantum cryptography, an emerging field that offers a provably secure scheme for creating one-time pads. Participants will learn about the Benett-Brassard-84 protocol and the Ekert-91 protocol, both of which can be used to create more secure encryption. Further, to provide a hands-on experience, participants will experiment with quantum programming and use the NMR Gemini Mini Quantum Computer to run quantum algorithms on a real 2 qubits quantum computer.
